The marketing was honest, showy and effective. I’d already discontinued using Harry’s months before when they became politically vocal. I’ve been forced to become hardened by anything liberal.

Cool story, nice idea for a “protest product”, but for Gods sake, you would get a better shave using rusty butter knife! Blades are NOT sharp and feel like they are yanking the hairs from your face (think disposable Bic single blade you get at a holiday inn when you forget to pack your razor)! Also, there is no trim edge blade on the top of the razor to trim under nose and other hard to reach places.
Save your money and buy a better razor. I so wanted to like this product and support, but after using twice, I threw away the blades that were left and went back to my old razor.
I have to agree. The razor seemed to be ripping the hairs from my face and the lack of a trim strip was troublesome. I dropped the first blade, hoping it was just an isolated issue, but the second blade was no different. Yes, maybe I’m just being a sissy, but I’ve been shaving for 40+ years and I haven’t experienced this before with anything other than cheap disposable blades. I LOVE the protest and I fully support the idea, but the product is just not that good at the moment. I spent my $60 in support but I’ll be cancelling my subscription. I will watch reviews and I may rejoin the cause if I see things getting better.
I jus had my first shave with my new Jeremy’s razor. I agree feels like it is yanking the hairs out of my face. Feels like a Gillette that has been used for weeks and is dull.
Finally, I find some feedback in agreement with my experience. Unfortunately, these razors were a total waste of money. As one of the other commenters mentioned, this razor felt comparable to old disposable Bic razors no matter how fresh the blade. Also, the head flexibility was far less than is offered on the Harry’s blade. I found the heavy handle to make the razor feel unbalanced, especially as a female user that primarily is using in an upward motion for leg shaving. I wish the product had matched the epic marketing tactic. Don’t waste your money!
Ordering these razors is a mistake. This is an inferior product. Does not cut cleanly, which requires you to go over the same area, again & again.
