Ecoplus Fuel Saver Reviews 2022: SCAM! Busted!! Beware!!!

Have you come across an ad online for the Ecoplus fuel saver? Do you want to buy the Ecoplus fuel saver? Is Ecoplus fuel saver a Scam? Is it Reliable? You may be asking, Does it really work? The answer is NO. Read this review to find out why the Ecoplus fuel saver does not work.

What is Ecoplus fuel saver ?

Ecoplus fuel saver is a device with claims to save fuel. The fuel saver device is designed to work with the OBD2 Connector of your vehicle, and it remaps the engine according to driving style and reduces the overall fuel consumption of your car.  It claims that the functionality of the chip is based on OBD2 protocols and aids in reprogramming the computer’s CPU in the vehicle.

When you connect the chip into it’s OBD2 connection, it will begin receiving data through the Computer CPU. When the chip has received information, it alters the Boost Pressure and the fuel quality, the timing and the timing of injection. It is just a piece of junk that has been recycled countless times. As of 2017 this same product entered the market. It was ‘Ecofuel’, then Ecochip, and similar to Ecoplus it did not work.

Inasmuch as the Ecoplus fuel saver looks legit, the main concern of this review is to ascertain if the fuel saver lives up to its name, and this review would expose all that is needed to know about this device.

Features of the Ecoplus fuel saver

  • The chip reduces fuel consumption upto 55 percent.
  • Easy to connect to OBD2
  • The chip is pre-programmed, and hence it is easy to operate
  • Compatible with all cars with OBD connector
  • A lightweight and small device

Does Ecoplus fuel saver Really work?

The answer to this Question is NO, The claims that Ecoplus fuel saver is the best-selling fuel saving on the market is actually false. The Ecoplus does not save fuel consumption in anyway, The chip doesn’t re-align the molecular structure of the fuel before it reaches the fuel injectors. It is just an expensive LED flasher.

Is Ecoplus a genuine Product?

No, the Ecoplus is just a recycled piece of junk.  The unit does not have any connection to OBD communication. Only what is connected is Power for the flasher to flash. In order to do what these companies claim, you would have to redesign the car. The major parts of how much fuel any car uses are: vehicle weight, tire size, rolling resistance, friction in moving parts, number of moving parts in the driveline, etc. There is nothing plug and play that can alter these basic factors. From these critical points noted above, has a lot of red flags as there are lots of negative reviews about the device.

Conclusion

From every indications, it is clear that the Ecoplus does not work, and is not recommended by us.

Just like viviizstores ,dicoola, alien-tees, galacmart, southood, crocodiletime and other suspicious websites, customers did not receive the items they ordered but a cheap item or nothing at all.

    • just to let you know, a chip CAN do quite a bit. I agree this one is a fake, but for diesel trucks especially, just buying a specific program/chip you can get over 100+HP! They can also make the truck run way more efficient, getting much better fuel economy. I’m confident that EcoPlus is a scam, but a chip most certainly can change tons of parameters and the way a vehicle runs. Look at companies like Edge, Diablo, or Banks, just to name a few. Their products are 100% legit and you can read that just about anywhere.

        • Chips can work do a little homework any car tech can inform you of that but they are way more expensive and with fuel economy you give up horsepower

        • I can tell you that there are performance mapping chips…we install the in the Drift, Ultra 4, and Trophy truck Pro race vehicles we build…but they are expensive and most require a Laptop or dedicated tablet to operate.
The Eco-plus just isn’t possible for the price or lack of programming ability.
Before you call everything a scam it might be best to ask a Race vehicle builder..or even performance car mechanic. I have had a Jet-Pac brand mapping system in my Navigator for years, use it mainly for towing and enhanced 4WD performance…it was just under $400 and does all it claims…the avg cost for the units we put in our drift racers is $1200 ( cost ) and has a 4 in dedicated tablet w/touchscreen.

      • Yes, but you have to open the ECU and change the chip, you can’t just plug something into the diagnostic connector.

      • Thanks Jordan, I will check into those and educate myself more as well. This did sound way to simplified and “too good & easy to be true”. I also worried whether it would be safe or potentially dangerous/damaging in any way to my vehicle/it’s electrical system. I, too, do realize the potential possibilities of an introduced chip having a significant impact upon the performance and efficiency of a motorized system ~ hence, my curiosity (at all) in this highly suspect product given it’s odd advertising and TGTBT product claims/promises. However, my mechanic knowledge is at the level of basic, lol 😉 ! I can perform routine maintenance, if I must ~ like I’m stranded and my cell is dead so I can’t call AAA so I have to change the flat tire myself darn self 😀 or someone dares me to change my oil myself… but I prefer not to at my age and manicure. 🙂 So, I don’t really know the ins and outs of the computerized system nor the electrical system that control so much of our modern day vehicles’ functionality and performance. I truly appreciate the referrals to the above mentioned manufacturers to check out. Hope you enjoy a great summer!! Suze

    • Any time someone sells a product that they claim saves on gas, you can be sure it’s a scam. Want to save gas? Simple: consolidate your trips, use your vehicle only if absolutely needed, don’t use AC if weather is 77degrees or lower.
      Hope this helps!
