Dynamic Manufacturing Inc. has agreed to a $1,826,400 class action settlement to resolve claims it unlawfully retained biometric information from employees and temporary employees. The name of the case is Bamberg, et al. v. Dynamic Manufacturing Inc., Case No. 2023-LA-000015, in the Circuit Court of 18th Judicial Circuit, County of DuPage.

Who Is Eligible?

The settlement class includes those who work or worked for Dynamic Manufacturing in Illinois as an employee or temporary worker who had biometric information collected and stored by Dynamic Manufacturing in connection with the company’s timekeeping software without previously signing a release between Feb. 3, 2016, and Dec. 27, 2022. The exclusion and objection date for the Dynamic Manufacturing class action settlement is May 22, 2023.

How To Be Part of This Settlement

To partake in this settlement, members of the class must file a claim form to benefit. The settlement website is Each member of the class will receive a proportionate amount of the overall settlement based on how many claims occur. The claim form deadline is May 22, 2023.

What Is The Pay For This Settlement?

The pay for this settlement is TBD (to be determined). Claimants must attest to being a Dynamic Manufacturing employee or temporary worker in Illinois who had biometric information taken by the company’s fingerprint timecard system during the designated time period.
