Nerdwax Reviews 2022: Scam Or Legit? Find Out!

Do you want to buy the Nerdwax from nerdwax.com? Read this review to find out more about the Nerdwax.

What is Nerdwax ?

Nerdwax is a beeswax based blend of all natural, cosmetic grade ingredients specifically formulated to keep your glasses in place.

Nerdwax claims to work by creating a layer of friction between your glasses and your skin. So it doesn’t matter what type of glasses you have, as long as they fit properly nerdwax will keep them in place. This review is to ascertain if Nerdwax lives up to its name, and this review would expose all that is needed to know about this product.

Does Nerdwax Really work?

The answer to this Question is not yet known, There are claims by some users that the Nerdwax actually works, whilst there are also reviews online that it does not work.

I bought this product for my wife because her biggest complaint when doing any outdoor activity is her sunglasses slipping down her nose – this seemed perfect. She excitedly slathered it on both pairs of her glasses. Unfortunately withing 2-3 days, she started noticing some pretty significant blistering on both sides of her nose. It appears she had an allergist reaction to NerdWax. It’s now 2 weeks later and her skin is finally almost fully healed. I wouldn’t recommend this product

As a glasses wearer since age 9 (now close to middle age) I was hoping this would be the answer to all my glasses sliding needs. Alas it is not. Yes, it is sticky and helps your glasses not slip; it is easy to use; it doesn’t smell (except the natural smell); it’s made of great ingredients. BUT it doesn’t last all day, which is nice because my glasses & face end up clean (mostly-see next item) but my glasses start slipping in a few hours. And at least for me the wax mixes with my makeup and migrates to the sides (see picture-this is 12 hours after applying and after a wipe off about 6 hours ago). This leaves a sticky glob on the inside of my glasses that looks a bit like, well, buggers.
So…1) Does it work-kind of. 2) Will I keep using it-yes (I’ve been using it for over a month). 3) Would I recommend it and buy it again-maybe.

A warning to anyone who purchases Nerdwax. The wax has ruined two pairs of glasses. The 1st pair were a few months old when I started to use nerdwax. I noticed that the nose piece started to turn white after a few times using the wax, after a couple months I contacted nerdwax via Facebook messenger. I explained that I was using the product as suggested (applying and cleaning) and my glasses still had the white on them. The person on the messenger said the same thing happened to them on old glasses when scraping or using something abrasive to clean the wax and that it was rubbing off the finish on their glasses. I counted my losses and got some different glasses. My new glasses are Burberry and the wax has destroyed them, it did the EXACT same thing. I’m not sure if I got a defective batch or what but I will no longer use nerdwax and will never suggest it. The wax does not keep the glasses on your nose and eats the finish on your glasses.

Both my husband and myself have the plastic nose pads on our glasses and I have struggled to keep them where I could see property as I have tri-focals. Once the pads were cleaned and my bridge nose area cleaned, what a difference. Works like a charm. I will ensure that when traveling a tube will always be with us. Not all products are right for everyone, but for us, this is really a good thing. Many thanks guys and Shark Tank.
