The M&B OTP Scam Text usually comes in this format;

“M&T(Alert): Dear MTB User Your OTP is 805937. If you did not request code kindly click https://rb.gy/uldapn.”

You may also get other similar texts as they come in various form, it is in your own best interest that you don’t click on it, simply delete it and inform others so they don’t fall victim. The goal here is to lure unsuspecting victims to click on the link that takes them to a phishing website where their personal information is then taken and used fraudulently.

Please be aware, M&T will never notify you over the phone, through email, or text message to:

  • Tell you that your account has been “locked” or “restricted”
  • Ask you to “verify” or “confirm” your personal information
  • Request your PIN, passcode, account details, and/or your Social Security Number
