Unboxing And Testing

I decided to order this Magic Stick TV Antenna to see what the whole fuss was all about, and believe me, there was absolutely nothing Magic about it. It is just a normal regular antenna. At first it seemed to work. I would set it up and do the channel scan and I would get decent reception. When I moved my ladder back to the garage I lost the reception. I’d go back out with my ladder readjust the direction pointed and then go back into the house. Everything looked good. Put the ladder away. The signal was gone. I don’t recommend. It just didn’t work for me. It’s slightly better than sticking a straightened paper clip into the antenna port. Any other antenna is probably better, but in some locations it will be good enough as I have read from other reviews. But in mine it just wasn’t it. However it was very easy to install, very easy to attach to the back of tv. The stuff that comes with it (To attach to the back of tv, wall etc. is absolute garbage as it doesn’t stay. For the price, its just Okay. Do not expect Magic.

Does Magic Stick TV Antenna Really work?

It did not work for me, I think it had to do with location, although some customers on Amazon said it did work for them

A customer had this to say:

Easy to hook into the TV. Not so sure on the range it claims to have. I’m about 40 miles as the crow from broadcast antennas located in Ft. Myers, FL and get spotty reception. Sometimes it works and sometimes nothing. Nice feature is that the cable is long enough to allow you mounting options of the unit far from the TV.
