    • Interesting. My experience with them has been exactly the same. I got rooked in thru a Microsoft news feed about Bed Bath and Beyond, a store I have bought from in the past. I knew BB&B was going out of business and thought this was a special liquidation sale. It looked like BB&B home page including a notice that orders over $39 shipped free. But after I had selected 5 items, I couldn’t check them out altogether. I ended up with 5 orders with a big shipping charge on each one. From there my experience was exactly as you describe in shipping and correspondence. I went back a couple of days later to the site and got warning alerts not to go there. I contacted my CC company right away and got my cards replaced. We decided at that point to wait to see if I got anything–I did not. But I managed to wrangle 3 refunds out of them. I think they are likely done now, so tomorrow I plan to dispute the 2 remaining charges. In hindsight, I had plenty of warning signs before I ordered and should have known better.

  5. I purchased a battery powered cooler $59.99 in August and never received the product. They kept saying to check with my neighbors and the post office, they said it was delivered. Then they told me I ordered a pair of sunglasses and one of my neighbors must have them. I tried to tell the it was a cooler. I just told them to resend the order and they could track the first order. Now they say they have lost too much money and want to settle for $17.99 and no product. This is definitely a scam!!!
