Testing

I decided to order this Airon Drone to see what the whole fuss was all about, and believe me, I wish I had listened to my instinct telling me not to waste my money, cos that was what I did, I wasted my money. They never delivered. Up till the point of making this review, I never got to receive the drone. 1. I did receive my Airon Drone, so that’s a plus, and it was ‘discounted’ and I paid £85 for it. Cheap for a drone, I thought, but possibly worth it to see if I can learn to control it and take some photos of motorbike meets etc.
I’m having real trouble understanding the instruction leaflet, and yes I did turn it over to the English side rather than the Chinese instructions HAHAHAHAHA
I am getting better at controlling the flight, although not finding it easier. The battery on the drone itself has run out and I’ve hardly used it so that’s not a great sign.
One of the legs keeps falling out, I had to superglue it in the end. Also the guards, to protect the propellers, come off very easily if an obstruction is hit so fat lot of use they are.
I have not managed to master how the thing takes photographs, using the phone app I thought pressing the ‘camera’ icon would do it, but no joy there.
The whole thing is very flimsy, but I accept it can’t be too heavy due to the purpose of the thing.
Not overly happen but I’m going to persevere and maybe it will be good practice before buying a better product.
Would I recommend it? not at the moment, it hasn’t lived up to the, possibly, company created rave reviews!
